"Like I was tellin' Eliot--usually there's a ton of signals I can find an' piggyback onto--phone calls, TV shows, wi-fi signals, security systems, alla that stuff. Anything that puts out a signal can be found and traced through the atmosphere. Problem is? If it's not somethin' originatin' on the island, it's not here. So, if you made a call to Eliot, I could track that, but I should be able to close my eyes an' point to an apartment in Baltimore an' track their phone calls, too. But I can't. It's like it ain't even there."
