Around The Matrix, Sunday

Zinyak's voice puttered out across the audio systems. One of yesterday's disabled towers tipped over, smashing into Selkie Peak. Zin soldiers flooded into the simulation.
There was another burst of Avé Maria. Then there was just the sound of chaos, below.

Today, Sparkle could leave fucking craters with his feet, which, on top of the whole speedster thing, meant that he actually had an arsenal of powers that would be useful when facing down all of these assholes.
And he'd be really well-dressed while doing it.
So, that was what he was getting himself up to. In the grand scheme of things, when one had the choice between smashing windows or kicking alien ass by jumping up into the air, smashing down on their stupid heads, and then zipping off faster than they could reasonably get their blasters up just to do it again from the other direction, it was sort of a no-brainer.
See? See? This was why he wanted powers, right here.

And then it was time to make some chaos. She drove the tank down the city street, cheerfully crushing every car in her way -- and more than a few motorcycles, pedestrians and bus stops along the way.
It was awesome.

These three things were bringing her a great deal of joy right now. The Zin? Not so much.

But when he stepped outside that morning, he found chaos waiting for him. "Well," he said, "Suppose I--"
And then he had to super-speed-dodge a car that went sailing past him. "--Alright!"

Then her scales had come back, and now she could hear fish. All the fish. In the fake ocean. And seagulls. NO ONE WANTED TO HEAR SEAGULLS.
Ada wanted the hell out of here, and she wanted out yesterday, which was why she was sending seagulls divebombing anything that wasn't clearly an actual Fandom resident. The Zin-things weren't gonna be able to see anything with birdshit all over their faces.
